My work for an Astrology client, begins with the creation of their birth chart or natal chart, showing the positions of all the planets, along with other significant points, at the time of their birth.

When there is some specific issue my client is wishing to discuss, I then move on to consider the ‘astrological picture,’ starting with the planetary transits and progressions, in relation to their natal chart. This enables me to see recent, current and even future, trends or cycles, that may have a bearing on the situation.

Where there are more difficult planetary influences at work, it can be very helpful for a person to be told: what effect they are likely to be having upon the situation; when they are likely to ease; and how best to manage them while they are occurring. Every so-called ‘negative’ transit or progression carries within it a particular type of lesson or challenge. If one responds positively to this, one can end up in a stronger position than before.

Likewise, the more favourable influences need to be used to their fullest potential. The challenge inherent in these perhaps, is not to let them go to waste. If used well, at best, they could enable some kind of resolution to be reached; at the least, they should enable positive progress to be made, toward that end.

Usually there will be a mixture of influences, both challenging and supportive; because the Universe wants to help you to learn and grow. But whichever they may be, you, as my client, will certainly learn a good deal more about the situation than you knew before…
